The UACC is intended to be a not-for-profit, nonsectarian, charitable, and educational corporation. Its purposes are to encourage study, knowledge, and interest in the Ukrainian language and culture; and to be a service organization to the community in the areas of immigration, social, health, legal and senior assistance and/or referral. The UACC considers itself and is intended to be qualified as a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation under the laws of the State of New York and the Internal Revenue Service Laws of the United States.
